Dignity Starts with Clean Clothes
Loads of Kindness transforms neighborhood laundromats and school sites into hubs of support. This free laundry program provides low-income families, students, seniors, and unhoused neighbors with access to washers, dryers, hygiene kits, and compassionate outreach.
Who It Serves:
- Families experiencing financial hardship
- Youth at risk of school absenteeism due to lack of clean clothes
- Seniors, unhoused, and disabled community members
What’s Included:
- Free laundry days at partner laundromats
- Hygiene and school uniform kits
- Resource navigation and referrals on site

Project X LB and LBCC have partnered to provide laundry assistance to students as part of the Loads of Kindness initiative. We will provide assistance in the form of $20 to help you with your laundry needs. The cost of laundry may mean that you will have to choose between paying for food, laundry, or gas. The good news is that we have got you covered. To be eligible, you must be a student.
